| The Reiki Treatment |
The Healing Session
When you arrive for a healing session you will receive a brief introduction to Reiki and we
will discuss the reason for the session and whether it relates to a physical or emotional
problem. You will remain fully clothed while lying down on a massage table during the
hour-long session. A lit candle plus some soothing, gentle music in the background creates
the right atmosphere.
Healing energy may be experienced as a warm, cold or a tingling sensation. While being
treated you may become aware of a sensation in the area of an old wound when the healing
affects that area, or you may find yourself crying as an emotional blockage is released.
Reactions to treatment vary as the healing energy goes where it is needed. After a
treatment make sure to drink a glass of water to flush out the toxins that have been released.
Periods of prolonged stress can affect the immune system making people tired and
vulnerable to viral infections as well as more serious illnesses. Reiki healing applied directly
to these areas can greatly improve their functioning.
Reiki sessions are available by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled Tuesday
through Friday evenings and occasionally on Saturdays.
Cost for a one hour session is $40. Schedule six sessions and get one free - $200. Gift
certificates are available for purchase.
